No Sign Of Dale Jr. At DEI Is Not The Issue!

I am a big Dale Jr. fan as most of you know, but I think the point is being missed with this whole situation at DEI and the fact that Teresa Earnhardt has elected to not represent Dale Jr and his accomplishments at DEI. Let me pose this question. Is it really about Dale Jr. memorabilia not being displayed at DEI? Shouldn't it be more of the fact that DEI is on this whole continue the legacy of the man in black kick, but yet DEI has chosen to not represent 26 of the 27 victories that drivers have given to the organization in the Cup Series. It is my understanding that Waltrip's victories, including the Daytona 500's won by the NAPA driver, as well as Steve Park's 2 victories are not represented either, so I'm not sure it is only about Dale Jr. I think the timing is a little off.
DEI has started the damage control already saying that the cars are still there and they moved the cars out of the way for tables for the media luncheon. My hunch is this is just that damage control. Remember this. The die hard Dale Jr. fans should not take this as a slap in the face to their driver but more of a slap in the face to their drivers father. Dale Sr started DEI and the history has been taken away by the ones who run the organization now. I'm not sure the way that it is being handled is the way that you help "Continue The Legacy."

HMS Penalties Fair?

I think it depends on how you look at it. I think that the penalty is harsh, just like i felt Dale Jr's was too harsh. However, there is one thing that everyone has been screaming for, and it is a word that most don't associate with NASCAR, Consistency. Yes the penalties are consistant, and that doesn't happen very often in NASCAR, so what do you think?

Bud, Pepsi, Monster? Does It Really Matter?

With all of the speculation of who Dale Jr's sponsor is going to be, does it really matter? Whoever the sponsor is going to be, Dale Jr. is still going to make a lot of money, Hendrick Motorsports is still going to bring in a ton of money, his fans will still by merchandise in droves and whoever the sponsor is will get a spike in sales. So my question is do you agree that it doesn't matter and who do you think the sponsor will be?

Sprint Cup In 2008

Man oh man, another year, another name change! In 2008 the title of Nascar's elite series will be the Sprint Cup. The Sponsor name seems to be changing faster than Derrick Cope going to the garage on lap 1 of any race he's in! Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Dale Jr and Hendrick Motorsports...Good Fit?

Now that Dale Jr. has allowed us in on his little secret for next season, it is time for us NASCAR fans to decide if we now follow him to the "enemy" or do you jump off of that bandwagon without breaking your ankles. I for one am a Dale Jr. fan who says.....Great move Jr. I think this gives him the best opportunity to win and compete for the titles that he wants to share with all of his fans. So now it is your turn. Good or bad!
