Let me pose this question. Is it really about Dale Jr. memorabilia not being displayed at DEI? Shouldn't it be more of the fact that DEI is on this whole continue the legacy of the man in black kick, but yet DEI has chosen to not represent 26 of the 27 victories that drivers have given to the organization in the Cup Series. It is my understanding that Waltrip's victories, including the Daytona 500's won by the NAPA driver, as well as Steve Park's 2 victories are not represented either, so I'm not sure it is only about Dale Jr. I think the timing is a little off.<br />DEI has started the damage control already saying that the cars are still there and they moved the cars out of the way for tables for the media luncheon. My hunch is this is just that damage control. Remember this. The die hard Dale Jr. fans should not take this as a slap in the face to their driver but more of a slap in the face to their drivers father. Dale Sr started DEI and the history has been taken away by the ones who run the organization now. I think that the penalty is harsh, just like i felt Dale Jr's was too harsh.
